The farm-house known as Weald Hall Farm was probably built early in the 19th century. It is a square two-story building of gault brick. To the south of the farm-yard and on the perimeter of the airfield there was formerly a circular moat, probably representing the site of the medieval manor house. The north half of the moat was recently filled.
